Oh rats

Posted by George on July 17th, 2010 at 7:20 pm

Daddy has been looking after us this weekend but last night Mummy sent him a text saying that she could here something scuttling about in the attic and under the floor. This morning Ollie, Daddy and I went over to see her and have a look around. Daddy found lots of rat droppings in the loft and more in the kitchen as well as some food that they had hidden away! Mummy is going to have to get some expert help to get rid of them. To make matters worse, We went next door to tell Kelvin and Trudy and Daddy found more droppings there. Uh oh!

Cousin Harvey

Cousin Harvey is over from New Zealand and Mummy, Ollie and I are having lots of fun with him. last week we went to Legoland.

Gymnastics

Posted by George on June 11th, 2010 at 8:26 pm

Mum has cancelled our gymnastics class. It was costing lots of money and Ollie and I seldom enjoy it anymore. That didn’t stop Dad taking us there today though as there was some communication issues and so basically we got to go for free!

Daddy’s iPad

Posted by George on June 1st, 2010 at 4:41 pm

Daddy couldn’t resist getting one. I think it was because Paul got one and Daddy got jealous. He dragged Ollie and I into town on Friday morning to go to the Apple store to get one. I didn’t really mind though because I got to play lego star wars on the special low children’s table they have there. I make a beeline for it every time we go there.

Bunkbeds

Posted by George on May 29th, 2010 at 9:46 pm

Daddy bought Ollie and I some new bunk beds for our room at Charlotte’s house. They had to be slightly smaller than the ones at Mummy’s house because there’s not much room in there due to the fact Dad sleeps in with us. This morning I woke up at 5.30 and threw my cuddly Peppa Pig on him!

Yay!

Posted by George on May 7th, 2010 at 9:50 pm

I got into the school I was hoping for. It’s just up the road so it’s easy for me to get to. I got very excited when Dad and I went for a walk up there the other day and bumped into Sue from next door (Apparently, when I go to school I have to call her Mrs Streeter). She took us inside to see the classrooms. I think I’m going to enjoy school.

Ollie’s day

Posted by George on April 6th, 2010 at 8:10 pm

It’s Ollie’s birthday today. We got up with Mummy and opened one of Ollie’s present, then we went off to nursery and I sat in Toucans with Ollie for my breakfast as a special treat for him! After nursery the whole family went for tea. It was a good day.

Mummy and Daddy

Posted by George on April 5th, 2010 at 10:05 pm

The family dynamic has changed rather over the last few weeks, Mummy and Daddy have been living in different houses. Initially Ollie and I were quite put out by this, but now we are sort of getting used to it. Daddy has gone to live with Charlotte and Paul and we still live in the house with Mummy. It doesn’t really matter too much as we still get to see them both lots and because it’s all new, we get excited about our sleep overs with Dad, although that’s more to do with seeing Charlotte in my case and Paul in Ollie’s!!

Hiding Bagpuss

Posted by George on March 12th, 2010 at 10:00 am

Daddy and I have got a little game going where one of us hides the Bagpyss DVD and the other one has to find it. Dad hid it first and it was a rubbish place to hide it. I found it very quickly. Now it’s my turn to hide it and I’ve warned him it’s going to be very difficult to find.

Beach

Posted by George on February 20th, 2010 at 5:30 pm

Daddy, Ollie and I went to Rottingdean today and Ollie and I rode our bikes along the undercliff walk and met Tom and Jed at the cafe at Ovingdean. Then we all played on the beach throwing pebbles into the water.

Star wars

Posted by George on February 15th, 2010 at 7:42 pm

Think I’ve been watching too much Star wars. Ollie told me I was his brother today but I said “No Ollie, I am your father.”

Weekend fun

Posted by George on February 1st, 2010 at 9:50 pm

Mummy and Daddy went away for a weekend recently (they went to London to see Mamma Mia in the West End), so Charlotte and Paul looked after Ollie and I. We had a really nice time although Paul had to work for quite a lot of the weekend so Charlotte had to do all the entertaining. On the saturday night I snuck back downstairs after Ollie had gone to sleep and insisted Charlotte bought a curry so I could have some. She did it too, and very nice it was! Thank you to Charlotte and Paul for looking after us x

Birthday

Posted by George on January 12th, 2010 at 9:01 am

It’s my birthday today. I’m four years old. I was very excited when I woke up today. I opened all my presents as soon as I got up. I got a camera so I can take lots of photos of everything I see. Keep looking here for some examples! Later today we are all going for a special birthday tea and I’ve invites my best friend Charlie along too.

Christmas time

Posted by George on December 30th, 2009 at 10:17 pm

We had a great Christmas. Father Christmas managed to get down our chimney with lots of presents. We’ve been to see all the family and they gave me presents too. I think my favourite is my lightsaber, or it maybe my lego, or my playmobile airplane, or maybe my books, or…

Christmas

Posted by George on December 22nd, 2009 at 6:17 pm

I’m very excited about Father Christmas leaving us lots of presents this year! We had our Christmas play at nursery today. I was one of the three kings. The play was all about a lazy angel called whoops-a-daisy angel.

We got to open our advent calendars today!

New room

Posted by George on December 1st, 2009 at 8:34 pm

We’re in! New carpet was fitted on Friday and we had our first sleep in there on Friday night. Think Daddy is pleased as I no longer stand on him when I get out of my bed as I did when we were all sharing the one room!

Charlie’s house

Posted by George on November 23rd, 2009 at 7:20 pm

I went to (my best friend) Charlie’s house for tea today, Mummy dropped me off there after Charlie and I had done our gymnastics and I stayed there all afternoon.

Up!

Posted by George on November 19th, 2009 at 9:54 pm

We all went to the cinema to see the film Up the other day. Ollie or I had never been to the cinema before. It was very exciting. Ollie didn’t like all the dogs in the film and had to have a cuddle with Mummy for some of it. There were a couple of bits I wasn’t keen on too, but all in all we both enjoyed it loads. I think Mummy and Daddy did too.

Giant

Posted by George on October 31st, 2009 at 10:48 am

When I was in my bed the other night, I heard a giant walk down the road, his big feet went thump thump thump on the road. Then he accidentally knocked over a wall. By the morning, it was fixed again.

Mummy says it was a dream…

Grandad and Granny

Posted by George on October 19th, 2009 at 12:09 am

We went up to see Grandad Mike and Granny this weekend. Ollie and I stayed up late and had some of the grownups curry. Although we took ours to the front room to have whilst watching Ice Age, our new favourite film. We also stayed up till very late, about 10.30 and only went to bed because Mummy and Daddy decided they were more tired than us!

Silly Daddy

Posted by George on October 12th, 2009 at 6:54 pm

Daddy opened the car door the other day but he forgot to get out of the way of it. He staggered back to the house and I had to tell him there was a lot of blood on his face. He’s got a bit of a black eye now and a scab where the blood all came out!

Bike

Posted by George on September 21st, 2009 at 7:26 pm

I’ve started riding my bike properly now. I don’t have stabilisers any more. A couple of weeks ago Mummy took them off and I just got on my bike and rode off. Everyone was very impressed!
