Ben 10

Posted by George on June 13th, 2009 at 7:41 pm

Cousin Ben loves Ben 10, and therefore I do too! Mummy got Ollie and I each a Ben 10 Omnitrix today and we are going to wear them to bed tonight and pretend to change into all manner of things! (if you don’t know what I’m talking about, see this site)

Camping

Posted by George on June 7th, 2009 at 6:34 pm

We all went away at the weekend with lots of Mummy and Daddy’s friends. We stayed in our snazzy new tent. It really rained but it didn’t bother us as we were nice and dry in our little bedroom! Although that said, we did pack up a day early as there was due to be 50mm of rain due (of course it never arrived!)

Busy Daddy

Posted by George on May 12th, 2009 at 9:14 am

Daddy has been offered some more work. He came home yesterday and he was filthy (I answered the door to him although I’m only allowed to open the front door if Mummy or Daddy say it’s ok to do so)! I still gave him a kiss and a cuddle though because we are all proud of him for actually getting back into work mode after being unemployed for 7 months!

Daddy’s job

Posted by George on May 7th, 2009 at 6:19 pm

Daddy has got a job. Well, sort of. He’s going to be working for someone for a couple of days to get a bit of experience in his role as an electrician. I hope he enjoys it. He starts tomorrow…

Bunk beds and playgroup

Posted by George on May 6th, 2009 at 10:18 am

Well, since I last spoke to you I’ve got quite good at sleeping in the top bunk, in fact I love it! I’ve also started really enjoying playgroup on Fridays. Ollie comes along too now and we take a packed lunch with us. I usually want Daddy to stay with us for a few minutes when he drops us off but he sometimes has to go to do DIY at home. He’s always there to pick us up though at the end of the day!

Ollie’s day

Posted by George on April 6th, 2009 at 7:38 am

I’m not sure how much more of this I can take. I like it when it’s my birthday because I get all the attention, but today, Ollie seems to be getting it all. Harumph! Only joking. We are all having a great time and it’s still early in the morning. Ollie slept in my old bed last night so I slept in the top bunk. I’ve slept in it twice before, but didn’t really like it but last night I was very keen to go in it. I think it was because Ollie is growing up too and wanted to sleep in the bed.

Just a photo of Ollie and I having our breakfast this morning.

Clocks gone forward

Posted by George on March 31st, 2009 at 6:38 pm

This has caused a major headache over the last couple of days. I refuse to go to sleep until it gets as dark as it used to be at 7.30. I can’t wait till the evenings really start getting light…

Play school

Posted by George on March 20th, 2009 at 4:35 am

I had my first day at play school last week, Mummy thought I’d me a bit unsure when I got there as I’d been a little bit worried about it all morning. When I got there however I really enjoyed myself and when Daddy came to collect me I wasn’t keen to leave!

Emergency

Posted by George on March 1st, 2009 at 10:10 pm

I was playing with my sponge iPhone in the bath tonight and I had a chat with the emergency services…

(presses imaginary number buttons whilst saying 9-9-9)

Hello, Police please, thanks.
Erm, yes, Ollie is poorly, bye bye.

Growing up fast

Posted by George on February 11th, 2009 at 9:38 am

I don’t wear any nappies at all any more. I have a wee before I go to bed and then sleep through. I’ve also moved up a room at nursery. I’m now in Blue Owls. It seems a long time ago that I first went to nursery, when I was a Puffin

Birthday parties

Posted by George on February 1st, 2009 at 8:18 pm

I’ve been busy over the last few weekends going to birthday parties. The last two I went to were Gus’s and Grace’s they’re two of by best friends at nursery so I enjoyed them very much. The next big one for me will be Charlie’s. He’s my best friend ever.

Nappy

Posted by George on January 24th, 2009 at 12:45 am

I still wear a nappy to bed because I like to have a wee in the night without disturbing Mum and Dad. I tend to take it off in the morning though, and today it was very heavy with wee! I said to Daddy, “Look Daddy, my nappy is as full as an egg” it made Daddy laugh.

Partying

Posted by George on January 21st, 2009 at 2:52 pm

I’ve finally finished partying for my birthday now. On Sunday we had a family day at Uncle Ralph’s house as it was Amy’s birthday at the weekend. We shared our party so I got even more presents. Hoorar!

Play group

Posted by George on January 21st, 2009 at 11:13 am

Daddy, Ollie and I went to look at the play group over the road from us the other day, I liked it a lot, when we got there all the other children were learning sign language. I of course already know a bit of it and Daddy knows lots, so I think I might enjoy it there. After that we played in the park with all the others and I got on very well with them all. I’m hoping to start going there soon on Fridays. I’ll still got to nursery too…

3 today

Posted by George on January 12th, 2009 at 5:20 pm

Wow, what can I say, I’ve had a lovely birthday. Firstly I got up and opened my presents, I got a big Aeroplane and a remote controlled train from Mummy and a set of cars from the film cars from Ollie. I got lots of other things from my party guests too, but they are too numerous to mention, but they will all be getting thank you cards. After breakfast (and an out of character lie in for Mum) we went to Falmer pond to feed the ducks but it was all frozen and full of seagulls so we only stopped for a couple of minutes. Then we went to the Basketmakers (my choice as much as Daddy’s). And then to the library and then to Pizza Express for lunch. I’m quite worn out.

Birthday party

Posted by George on January 11th, 2009 at 6:16 pm

I had a big birthday party yesterday. It wasn’t actually my birthday, but Mummy and Daddy said that most people work during the week so we had to have it on a Saturday. Daddy doesn’t work though I thought?! Anyway, this was a birthday party for me and my nursery friends as well as James, Daisy and Pei Gui. We had good fun doing pass the parcel and hitting the piñata. Mummy made the piñata, it was a big blue monster. Mummy and Daddy forgot to take any photos though so you’ll have to wait for my second party next weekend to see any!

Shelving issues

Posted by George on January 6th, 2009 at 8:08 am

Daddy rather overloaded the shelf in the office yesterday and the whole thing and everything on it came crashing down. All in all he was very lucky really, it just clipped the iMac on it’s way down but caused no harm, it also missed the big printer, the digital radio, the telephone and amazingly didn’t even damage the desk (or Daddy) however the photo printer didn’t fair so well, it took the full brunt of the force and probably won’t work anymore!

Christmas and new year

Posted by George on January 5th, 2009 at 7:16 pm

Charlotte got me a big grown up bike for Christmas. I got lots of other presents too, but my eyes especially lit up when I opened that. We all went over to the park opposite to try it out. Daddy and Mummy and Charlotte felt a bit guilty taking their champagne over there with us, but then some neighbours that Daddy knows came over the park too and they also had champagne so everyone was happy!
For new year Tom Deb and Jed came over for the evening, I was having so much fun with Jed that I didn’t want to go to bed at all, and as Jed was excited about new year, he didn’t want to go to bed either, then Ollie woke up so the upshot of it all is that we were all awake to see in the new year.
Now all this Christmas and new year stuff is out the way, we can concentrate on my birthday party that is looming…

Excited

Posted by George on December 24th, 2008 at 8:48 pm

I’m terribly excited you know. Some of you may think it’s because of Christmas, and you might be right, but I’m more excited about something that has just happened to me. I told Daddy that I had a spot on my arm, and he said it wasn’t a spot. It was a mole. It’s my first ever mole and I’m very pleased with it! Daddy says I’ll get more, so I’ll let you know as and when I get them!
Tomorrow Charlotte is coming over for Christmas Day and we are going to have lots of fun, so I’m excited about that too…

Tardy

Posted by George on December 21st, 2008 at 1:25 pm

Well, I’ve not been keeping up with my duty of updating this blog very well have I! Still, I promise to do more in the new year. In the meantime though, it’s nearly Christmas. Daddy explained to me that Father Christmas comes down the chimney to deliver presents. I reminded Daddy that he’s just blocked up both the old fireplaces in the house, so Daddy said he would speak to FC to tell him where he was going to leave the back door key so he can come in there instead!

Can you guess my favourite film?

Sealand

Posted by George on November 11th, 2008 at 7:03 pm

We’ve gone to Sealand (well, that’s what I’m calling it). I speak to Daddy most mornings (his evenings) and I basically just tell him that I’m having cornflakes. I wonder if I should try telling him something else too? Still, I’m better that Ollie, at least I am talking to him.

Miss Dad

Posted by George on November 4th, 2008 at 8:46 am

I told Daddy that I will miss him when the rest of us go on holiday on Thursday. I gave him a big cuddle and a kiss and told him it would be alright because I’d be back soon. I also gave him an extra big cuddle in bed this morning, just so he knows I really will miss him.
