Dinner time

Posted by George on June 27th, 2006

I like dinner times now that I’ve got used to eating proper food. I try to feed myself, I’m not too bad at it either. Well, ok a bit of a mess but not bad for a beginner.

Nick names

Posted by George on June 25th, 2006

Mum and Dad have nick names for me. Mum calls me Batman, cos I’m not Robin, and Dad calls me Jack Jack because of who I look like.

Upwardly mobile?

Posted by George on June 21st, 2006

More like backwardly mobile! I am now quite mobile. I have been for a couple of weeks. This means Mum and Dad can’t leave me on my own as much now because I propel myself backwards along the floor when on my back by kicking my feet down and pushing me along. Mum didn’t know [...]

Dinners

Here is a photo of Daddy and I ordering my organic veg online. Mum has been cooking and mushing up all sorts of things for me to eat. Some have been a success, others haven’t!

A new friendship

Posted by George on June 19th, 2006

Mo and I have become good friends now. Even when I tug her fur she purrs and makes me feel very much loved. I love her too, she is cuddly but sometimes her fur makes me sneeze!

Father’s day

Posted by George on June 18th, 2006

Is father’s day today. I got Daddy some presents and two cards! Mum and I went to Worthing a few weeks ago and got my hands squidged into some clay type stuff, then they cast my hands in plaster, looks very good. Dad is very pleased. Mum and me also squidged my feet in paint [...]

Silly Daddy

Posted by George on June 12th, 2006

Daddy drove to work today and the car stopped when he parked. Then he realised he’d run out of petrol so Mum and me had to come and save him. It wasn’t all bad though, it meant that we all got to have a picnic for lunch.

World cup madness. England 1 – 0 Paraguay

Posted by George on June 12th, 2006

Mummy and Daddy made me wear this outfit on Saturday. I slept through some of the game, but Dad says it’s important that I watch.

I’m ready to be weaned (part 3)

Posted by George on June 8th, 2006

I’m getting the hang of this now, I’m not too fussed about baby rice, but Dad seems to like what I leave!

More gardening

Posted by George on June 7th, 2006

Mummy and I spent yesterday doing the gardening. Mum has planted lots of vegetables and they have all started growing now. We spent the day weeding and moving our little greenhouse to another part of the garden. Mummy had to chop a tree down which Dad will like because it means he gets to have [...]

I’m ready to be weaned (part 2)

Posted by George on June 6th, 2006

Seems I’ve got eyes bigger than my belly. Mum tried to give me my baby rice today, but I wasn’t very happy about it. Well, to say I was very happy isn’t really true, more not interested. Still, I can at least say that I tried. Maybe I’ll have another go soon.

I’m ready to be weaned

I know I am, I keep looking at Mummy and Daddy as they eat their dinner. I think I’ll try some baby rice later today. I’ll let you know how I get on…

Daddy’s story

Posted by George on June 2nd, 2006

Daddy found an old school book in the loft. It was one of his from when he was six or seven. Here is one of the stories that he wrote in it: Once upon a time there was a monster called Jason Harmer and there was one called Robin Davey and the house was in [...]

Grumpy then placated

Posted by George on June 1st, 2006

I was very grumpy for my late feed last night, and given my ability to spit medised out when Dad tries to give it to me on a spoon, he opted for the syringe approach. Before I knew it 5ml of the horrid stuff was in and I’d swallowed it all. Damn him and his [...]
