Rubbish weather

Posted by George on June 30th, 2007

We’re going on holiday tomorrow, I hope the weather picks up a bit otherwise we won’t be able to play on the beach. We went to my nursery today for the summer fair, it was raining but I didn’t mind, I still went on the bouncy castle even though it was a bit slippery. We [...]

Blowing bubbles

Posted by George on June 29th, 2007

I love bubbles, Mummy and Daddy blow them and I chase them and try to pop them before they touch the ground. Yesterday I got the hand of blowing to make the bubbles myself, trouble is I haven’t got the hang of blowing through the hole in the blower, so as yet I’ve not actually [...]

My house

Posted by George on June 28th, 2007

Grandad brought my little house down from his big house to ours today. He set it up in the garden for me. When I got back from nursery I was so excited to see it there. It’s got a little table and chair in it and a phone on the wall, I go in and [...]

Just testing

Posted by George on June 27th, 2007

Just seeing if I can blog by emailing my secret account. Have to do this because the blog challenge is still on and I may need alternative methods of blogging to keep the dream alive…

Head, shoulders, knees and toes…

Posted by George on June 26th, 2007

I know all of these now, I can point to them when someone asks where they are. I can also do eyes and ears and mouth and nose, which is handy for the song.

Cough, wheeze, atisshoo

Posted by George on June 25th, 2007

I’ve got a really nasty cough and cold at the moment, I have to keep walking to the toilet or bathroom to get some toilet roll to blow my nose on, then I put it in the bin when I’ve finished. The bin in the kitchen has a catch on it so I have to [...]

Jumping

Posted by George on June 24th, 2007

I’ve been learning to jump over the last few days. I could get all the actions right, bending knees, arms up in the air, it’s just that my feet never actually left the ground. Not so now though, I successfully jumped in the pub today!

Party

Posted by George on June 23rd, 2007

We all went to the annual [Mum's] family party today at Great Auntie Pat’s house. I got on great guns with everyone, they all thought I’ve grown up a lot since last year (which I suppose I have). The only trouble is that I think there was a lot of interest in Oliver because many [...]

Cool or what!

Posted by George on June 22nd, 2007

I got some great wrap around shades today, They have a velcro® bit that joins up at the back of my head to stop them falling off. Daddy needs to get some new shades too because I snapped his in two. Oops!

New windows

Posted by George on June 21st, 2007

I’ve got new windows in my room now, none of this 1930s lead-light stuff anymore, it’s all 21st century now you know. Daddy is going to have a word with the installer soon because he doesn’t like the way one of them shuts, and he should know, because he’s my Dad. Oh, and Mum nodded [...]

Sleeping at nursery

Posted by George on June 20th, 2007

I’ve ditched the cot at nursery, I now just go and sleep on a mat when I need my midday nap. No fussing, I just go there and have a kip. Nice and easy. I wonder when Mum and Dad will get me a bed?

Weekend

Posted by George on June 11th, 2007

What a busy weekend. On Saturday, Mum, Dad and I all worked in the garden. Dad cut the honey suckle back. Mum pulled up a lot of ivy that was creeping round the other plants and I helped them both with my little gardening set. I cut some honeysuckle and I raked up some leaves. [...]

Missing Granma

Posted by George on June 9th, 2007

It’s been six months to the day since Granma died. We all miss her as much as we always have. Oliver never got to meet her but he got to have her maiden name as his middle name. I think Mum and Dad found it a bit tough at times today.

A day at the races

Posted by George on June 4th, 2007

We all went to Brighton races yesterday for Neil’s birthday. I had great fun watching the horses, eating everyone’s food and playing on the bouncy castle. Oliver slept through most of it, even when the horses came thundering past. Dad lost money but Mummy won some. She seems a bit better at this betting malarkey [...]

Lots of progress

Posted by George on June 1st, 2007

I’ve come on leaps and bounds since Oliver’s been born, I can now talk, and do so a lot. I say Daddy, Ma ma, shoe, and I try to say dog, cat, Oliver among others but they seem to come out a bit wrong! Still, what with that and being able to run like the [...]
